Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of tropical fruit such as pineapple and passion fruit, complemented by aromas of gooseberry, lemongrass and a subtle spicy touch of freshly cut grass.

Taste The mouthfeel is full, almost oily and very refreshing. On the palate, layers of grapefruit, green apple and a striking saline minerality remain beautifully balanced with the lively, crisp acidity. The 13,5% alcohol provides a beautiful structure in which the fruity nuances combine perfectly with the fresh core.

Finish A long, elegant finish. The fresh notes of citrus and minerals slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of mild floral spices.

Serving tips & pairings

• Chilled: The best way to allow the aromas to show fully at their best is to serve the wine between 8°C and 10°C in a slender white wine glass.

• Gastronomy: Excellent with light dishes such as grilled asparagus, fresh seafood, sushi or a salad with goat’s cheese. Also fantastic alongside a Thai green curry.

• Moment: This is the ideal wine for a sunny afternoon, a light lunch or as an invigorating aperitif where the maritime freshness can take centre stage fully.

• Pro tip: The saline undertone makes this Sauvignon Blanc one of the best partners for fresh oysters with a squeeze of lemon.
