Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of overripe black plums and blackberries, beautifully complemented by aromas of dried figs, a hint of dark chocolate and a subtle spicy touch of vanilla and tobacco.

Taste The mouthfeel is broad, firm and extremely balanced. On the palate, layers of dark fruit appear, with a striking balance between the powerful, ripe tannins and the fine oak touch. The alcohol percentage of 13,5% supports the full body beautifully, with savoury nuances and the structure typical of Tannat lingering long and harmoniously.

Finish A long, elegant finish. The notes of dark fruit and spices slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of mild oak and a refined, dry finish.

Serving tips & pairings

• Temperature: Preferably serve this wine between 16°C and 18°C.

• Decanting: This wine benefits from 30 to 60 minutes of oxygen; use a carafe to allow the aromas and tannins to merge optimally.

• Gastronomy: The ultimate companion for the barbecue (Asado). Excellent with grilled red meat, game dishes, leg of lamb with garlic or hearty stews. Also fantastic with very old cheeses.

• Characteristic: 100% Tannat; aged for 12 months in French oak.

• Moment: An ideal wine for a hearty dinner, an evening by the fireplace or as a powerful gift for a lover of full-bodied red wines.
