Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of black cherries and ripe plums, beautifully complemented by aromas of Mediterranean herbs, a hint of citrus typical of this plot, and a subtle spicy touch of black pepper and light smoke.

Taste The mouthfeel is broad, medium-to-full bodied and extremely balanced. On the palate, layers of dark fruit appear, with a striking balance between lively acidity and silky-smooth, powdery tannins. The alcohol percentage of 14,0% supports the structure beautifully, with the mineral nuances lingering long and harmoniously.

Finish A long, elegant finish. The notes of cherries and spices slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of citrus freshness and a refined, dry finish.

Serving tips & pairings

• Temperature: Serve this wine at preference between the 16°C and 18°C.

• Glass: Use a large wine glass to let the complex aromas of Syrah and Monastrell come fully into their own.

• Gastronomy: Excellent with powerful meat dishes such as leg of lamb with herbs, game dishes or a rich stew. Also fantastic with a board of aged, hard cheeses.

• Characteristic: Certified organic (ECO) and vegan; from one specific plot.

• Moment: This is a wine for the connoisseur, ideal for a special dinner or an evening where the discovery of terroir is central.
