The Andeluna 1300 Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful and characterful red wine from the heart of the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina. 

The name "1300" refers to the impressive altitude of 1300 metres where the vineyards are located, at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains. This altitude provides cool nights and sunny days, resulting in a wine with exceptional aromatic intensity, ripe tannins and a beautiful balance between fruit and elegance.

Andeluna 1300 Cabernet Sauvignon: The power of the Andes in every drop

This Cabernet Sauvignon is a tribute to the unique terroir of the Uco Valley. Due to the extreme altitude, the grapes ripen slowly, allowing them to develop deep colour and complex flavours. After manual harvesting, the wine undergoes careful ageing in French and American oak casks for six months, followed by a resting period in bottle. This process softens the powerful structure of the Cabernet grape and adds refined nuances of wood and spice to the lively fruit.

Aroma An intense and complex bouquet of ripe red berries and black cherries, subtly interwoven with notes of green pepper, black pepper and an elegant hint of vanilla and chocolate from the oak ageing.

Taste Full-bodied and structured on the palate. You taste the richness of dark fruit, supported by firm yet silky-smooth tannins and a refined minerality that gives the wine striking freshness.

Finish A persistent and balanced finish with pleasant spiciness and a final touch of roasted coffee beans.

  • Serve this wine at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C. It is advisable to uncork the bottle half an hour before serving, so the aromas can open fully.
