Serving Tips & Pairings

• Preparation: Serve in a tall, narrow glass. Pour the raki first, then add ice-cold water, usually at a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio, and add ice cubes only at the very end to preserve the balance of the anise oils.

• Food Pairing: Rakı is inseparable from meze. It pairs beautifully with creamy feta, sweet melon, grilled octopus, hummus, and warm barbecue dishes.

• Temperature: Always drink Yeni Rakı well chilled. Serve a glass of cold water alongside it to refresh the palate between bites.
