Alto Cuevas Bobal-Tempranillo by Bodegas Covilor is an ode to the authentic Valencian inland region and the heritage of the cooperative. Where some Bobal wines can be austere, this blend offers impressive depth and a richer mouthfeel through the addition of smooth Tempranillo. 

This results in a cherry-red wine full of notes of ripe red fruit, toffee and a recognisable silky-smooth feel. Bottled at 13.0% for the ultimate balance between Mediterranean richness and refined, uncomplicated drinkability.

Flavour & character

Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of ripe red berries and cherries, beautifully complemented by aromas of blackcurrants and a subtle spicy touch of toffee and light toasted notes.

Taste The mouthfeel is light, fresh and very pleasant. On the palate, layers of fresh fruit come through, with a striking balance between the mild tannins and the lively freshness of Bobal. The alcohol percentage of 13,0% keeps the wine elegant and light-footed, while the fruity nuances linger in a clean and harmonious way.

Finish A medium-long, elegant finish. The notes of red fruit slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of mild spices and a refined, rounded finish.
