Ca’ls Pins Blanco from Bodega Los Pinos is an ode to Mediterranean freshness and pure, organic viticulture. Where many white wines from warm regions lose acidity, this blend offers impressive depth and a richer mouthfeel thanks to the early harvest and the altitude of the vineyards. 

This results in a light-yellow wine full of notes of white flowers, tropical fruit and a recognisable mineral vibe. Bottled at 13,0% for the ultimate balance between aromatic abundance and a silky-smooth, thirst-quenching structure.

The Ca’ls Pins Blanco is considered by connoisseurs to be the 'sweet spot' for anyone looking for an uncomplicated yet characterful white wine. Bodega Los Pinos, located in Fontanars dels Alforins, was the first bodega in the Valencia region with organic certification. What makes this release special is the interplay between Sauvignon Blanc, which provides backbone and citrus aromas, and Moscatel, which gives the wine an enticing perfume and a soft texture.

The combination of limestone-rich soils and the cool sea breeze that reaches the valley provides a considerably fuller texture and a more intense tasting experience than many standard white wines. Flavour & character

Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of orange blossom and jasmine, typical of Moscatel, beautifully complemented by aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit and a subtle spicy touch of freshly cut grass and fennel.

Taste The mouthfeel is fresh, uplifting and surprisingly fruity. On the palate, layers of exotic fruit appear, with a striking balance between crisp acidity and a silky-smooth, almost creamy finish. The alcohol percentage of 13,0% keeps the wine light and elegant, whilst the minerality creates beautiful tension on the palate.

Finish A medium-long, elegant finish. The notes of citrus and flowers slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of white fruit and a refined, dry finish.


Serving tips & pairings

  • Temperature: Serve this wine well chilled, preferably between 7°C and 9°C.

  • Glass: Use a standard white wine glass to let the aromatic notes of the Moscatel come into their own.

  • Gastronomy: Excellent with light starters, fresh salads, steamed fish, sushi or mild Asian dishes. Also fantastic with soft goat’s cheese.
