Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of black fruit such as blackberries and plums, beautifully complemented by aromas of wild Mediterranean herbs (monte bajo), a hint of liquorice and a subtle mineral touch of wet stone.

Taste The mouthfeel is full, juicy and highly structured. On the palate, layers of ripe forest fruit appear, with a striking balance between the powerful body and the natural freshness so typical of the Aceniche plateau. The alcohol percentage of 14,5% supports the fruity intensity without becoming dominant, with the savoury nuances coming through beautifully.

Finish A long, elegant finish. The notes of dark fruit and spices slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of the Spanish mountains and a refined, fresh finish.

Serving tips & pairings

• Temperature: Serve this wine preferably between 14°C and 16°C to preserve its fruity elegance at its best.

• Glass: Use a large tulip-shaped glass to let the aromas of the Monastrell breathe fully.

• Gastronomy: Excellent with tapas, grilled meat, regional rice dishes such as Arroz con Conejo, or a board with semi-mature cheeses and charcuterie.

• Characteristic: 100% certified organic (ECO), unfiltered and from high-altitude vineyards (850 m).

• Moment: This is the ideal wine for a relaxed barbecue, a cosy dinner with friends or as a conscious choice for a glass of pure nature.
