Aroma An ethereal and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of raspberries and wild strawberries, elegantly interwoven with aromas of violets, cedarwood and a subtle spicy touch of dried mushrooms, black tea and a hint of damp forest floor.

Taste The mouthfeel is silky-smooth and extremely refined. On the palate, layers of red cherries, pomegranate and a striking mineral tension remain beautifully balanced with the very fine tannins. The 13,5% alcohol provides an elegant structure in which the savoury umami nuances combine perfectly with the fresh fruit core.

Finish A long, floating finish. The fresh notes of red fruit slowly fade away and make way for a warm memory of mild spices and a delicate earthy undertone.

Serving tips & pairings

• Serving: Serve this Pinot Noir lightly chilled between 14°C and 16°C in a generous Burgundy glass, giving the fragile aromas room to open up.

• Potential: Although it already shows enormous elegance now, this wine will evolve beautifully for 8 to 10 years and develop more tertiary notes of leather and truffle.

• Gastronomy: A sublime partner for refined dishes such as roast duck with cherry sauce, woodland mushroom risotto or gently cooked salmon. Also surprisingly delicious with dishes carrying a hint of earthy truffle.

• Moment: This is the ideal wine for an intimate dinner or a moment of pure reflection, where the layering of the Vinography series can take centre stage fully.
