Taste The mouthfeel is soft, round, and extremely balanced. On the palate, layers of grains unfold and there is a striking balance between the fresh juniper and the mild, almost creamy texture of the malt wine. The alcohol percentage of 35% supports the structure, with the pure grain tones resonating harmoniously.

Finish A medium-length, clean finish. The notes of juniper slowly fade away, making way for a clean impression of grains and a refined, dry finish.

Serving tips & combinations

• Temperature: Serve Bokma preferably ice cold directly from the freezer or refrigerator in a traditional tulip glass.

• Glass: Drink it 'with a head on it' in a genever glass to fully experience the aromas.

• Pairing: Excellent to combine with a 'kopstootje' (alongside a cold glass of beer), Dutch herring, aged cheese, or salted almonds.

• Characteristic: Made from 100% grain distillate; the original square bottle.

• Moment: This is the ideal spirit for a happy hour, a cosy brown café moment, or as a digestif after a Dutch meal.
