This Single Grain whisky spent a full decade in the shelter of our casks, waiting for the moment when the balance between grain and wood was absolutely perfect. It is a liquid time capsule in which grounded Groningen craftsmanship merges with the fiery temperament of the Spanish sun.
The Encounter: Northern light and Mediterranean warmth
The foundation of this whisky lies in the north, where the masters at Hooghoudt in Groningen distilled a crystal-clear Single Grain with the utmost precision.
This refined distillate formed the perfect canvas for years of transformation.

Oloroso sherry casks:
The choice of robust European oak casks (Quercus Robur) that previously held Oloroso sherry defines the final result. This specific wood type is known for its porous structure, allowing the whisky to move deep into the grain and absorb the rich, nutty aromas of the sherry for exceptional flavour depth.
The ageing:
For a full decade, this whisky rested quietly in our casks to develop its own unique identity. Time skilfully polished the sharper edges of the young distillate, while the slow interaction with oak created a beautiful infusion of dark colour and layered, complex flavour notes.
The Selection:
Our distillers selected this specific batch by hand because the balance between grain and wood has reached its absolute peak. The silky-smooth structure of the grain whisky flows seamlessly into the powerful, sweet soul left behind by long ageing in sherry casks.
