Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of black fruit such as blueberries, plums and blackcurrants (cassis), beautifully complemented by aromas of dried figs, raisins and a subtle spicy touch of vanilla and tobacco from oak ageing.

Taste The mouthfeel is broad, powerful and highly structured. On the palate, layers of dark fruit appear, with a striking balance between the ripe, present tannins and the silky-smooth texture of French oak. The alcohol percentage of 14,0% supports the full body beautifully, with savoury nuances lingering long and harmoniously.

Finish A long, elegant finish. The notes of ripe fruit and vanilla slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of mild spices and a refined, rounded finish.

Serving tips & pairings

• Temperature: Preferably serve this wine between 16°C and 18°C.

• Glass: Use a generous wine glass to give the powerful aromas and tannins room to breathe.

• Gastronomy: The ideal partner for hearty dishes such as grilled red meat (asado), leg of lamb with spices, or generously filled pasta dishes with spicy sauces. Also fantastic with a board of aged, hard cheeses.

• Characteristic: Made from the rare Arinarnoa grape; aged for 12 months in French oak.

• Moment: This is a wine with a story, perfect for a culinary journey of discovery, a dinner with friends or as a special gift for a wine connoisseur.
