Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of green almond skin and fresh hay, beautifully complemented by aromas of white flowers, ripe pear and a subtle spicy touch of vanilla and hazelnut from the oak ageing.

Taste The mouthfeel is broad, fresh and fills the mouth completely. On the palate, layers of white fruit emerge, with a striking balance between the lively acidity and the silky-smooth texture of the barrel influence. The alcohol percentage of 12,0% makes the wine elegant, while the mineral undertones provide a warm and rich feeling in the finish.

Finish A long, elegant finish. The notes of nuts and white flowers slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of dried fruit and a refined, fresh finish.

Serving tips & pairings

• Temperature: Serve this wine preferably between 10°C and 12°C. Do not drink it too cold, so the complex oak aromas are not masked.

• Glass: Use a slightly larger white wine glass, for example for Chardonnay, to let the aromas breathe.

• Gastronomy: Excellent paired with grilled vegetables, oily fish such as salmon or mackerel, sushi, white meat with creamy sauces and semi-mature goat's cheese.

• Characteristic: Certified organic, unfiltered and from old vines (35-60 years).

• Moment: This is a white wine for gourmets, ideal for a luxury lunch, an extensive dinner or as a partner for refined fish dishes.
