Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of ripe peach and lychee, complemented by aromas of acacia, exotic fruit and a subtle spicy touch of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak.

Taste The mouthfeel is full, oily and deliciously creamy. On the palate, layers of baked apple and pineapple appear, alongside a striking buttery texture that remains beautifully balanced with refined acidity. The 14,2% alcohol provides a powerful structure in which the oak notes merge perfectly with the fruity core.

Finish A very long, elegant finish. The warm notes of vanilla and tropical fruit slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of mild spices and a silky-smooth finish.

Serving tips & pairings

• Temperature: Serve this Chardonnay preferably between 10°C and 12°C. Too cold masks the complex oak notes; too warm makes the wine less fresh.

• Glass: Use a generous Chardonnay glass to give the aromas the chance to open up fully.

• Gastronomy: Excellent with rich dishes such as lobster with butter sauce, grilled salmon, poultry in cream sauce or veal. Also fantastic with mature, hard cheeses.

• Moment: This is the ideal wine for an extensive dinner, a festive toast or as a gift for a true connoisseur.
