Belles Vignes Sauvignon Blanc is an ode to traditional viticulture. Where some white wines from the south seek out heaviness, this variant offers impressive depth and a richer mouthfeel through a pure focus on the aromatic expression of the grape.

What makes this release special is the focus on low-temperature vinification, allowing the volatile aromas of gooseberry and citrus to be fully preserved without losing minerality.

The careful selection of grapes from different plots provides a considerably fuller texture and a more intense tasting experience than many other country wines. Flavour & character

Aroma An intense and enticing bouquet. Immediately recognisable are the rich notes of green apple and citrus fruits, complemented by aromas of white flowers, freshly cut grass and a subtle touch of tropical fruit such as pineapple and passion fruit.

Taste The mouthfeel is full, oily and refreshing. On the palate, layers of juicy lime, gooseberries and a striking minerality remain beautifully balanced with the lively acidity. The 12% alcohol provides a beautiful structure in which the aromatic nuances come perfectly into their own.

Finish A long, elegant finish. The fresh notes of citrus and green apple slowly fade away and make way for a clean memory of mild floral spices.

  • Chilled: The best way to show the crisp aromas fully at their best is a serving temperature between 8°C and 10°C.
